LAUNCHING LISTSERV® 14.3!

We are proud to announce that L-Soft is releasing new version
upgrades for LISTSERV® email management software and LISTSERV®
Maestro email campaign software.

LISTSERV® Version 14.3 is the second most extensive update in
LISTSERV's 18-year history. LISTSERV® 14.3 can be connected easily to
most spam filters, including the ubiquitous SpamAssassin. Its new spam
control features kill address harvesters dead and make it much more
difficult (some even say impossible) for spammers to pollute the list
administrators' mailboxes. LISTSERV® 14.3 also allows a much finer degree
of customization and translation of system and confirmation messages,
and follows the W3C priority 1 accessibility guidelines.

More than 100 of the 174 changes in version 14.3 are a
direct result of customer requirements, covering a broad spectrum
from spam control to internationalization to database stored
procedures to list moderation.  The result is a product with a
comfortably familiar interface that contains an impressive collection
of new customer-driven enhancements that will improve the email list
management experience for list subscribers, list owners and site
administrators alike.

With the release of version 14.3, L-Soft is aligning the LISTSERV®
version numbering with the rest of the email industry. There have
been 48 released versions of LISTSERV® since 1986, including 14 major
upgrades and 34 minor releases. The former version 1.8e in the
"traditional" numbering system corresponds to 14.0, and the present
update to 14.3.

L-Soft is also releasing version 2.0 of the LISTSERV® Maestro email
campaign manager. Building upon the LISTSERV® foundation you are
familiar with, LISTSERV® Maestro offers advanced tracking and
reporting functions packaged in an award-winning web interface.
LISTSERV® Maestro 2.0 extends the power of email marketing to
organizations that do not already have existing recipient databases
and need an easy way to collect data and send targeted opt-in email
campaigns.
