I am the list maintainer and editor of [log in to unmask]
CHINA-NN(China News Network) has about 4000 subscribers. I guess
such a large single list will use quite a lot CPU time on ASUACAD and
cause heavy traffic on network. I wonder if there are some nodes are
willing to peer china-nn. If we are going to have some peers,
topologically, which nodes are better in terms of reducing network traffic
and shorten the delivery time? How many peers are needed for such a
large list. Hope Dr. Eric Thomas can give us some suggestions.

Our lits is using DIST2. The No of mails/day is one. The subscriptions
come from total 22 contries. Most subscribers are in US (about 3200).
There are about 400 hundreads Europen subscribers.
There are also some subscriptions from Australia, Tawain and Japan.

Hope postmasters there will kindly consider our request for peers.

I would also like to express my sincere thanks to postmasters at
ASUACAD, who gave us invaluble help. Hope peope out there can help share
some loads from ASUACAD.
