One of our local lists has recently been receiving messages which exceeded
the MAILMAXL value. LISTSERV correctly rejected the mail; however, it's
rejection notice went back to MAILER@RICE, not to the sender (who was
always the Resent-From: person). This is clearly wrong. I've upped
MAILMAXL to bypass the problem, but this thing caused quite a few
extraneous messages to be sent between LISTSERV, MAILER, and our
postmaster. MAILER@RICE is known to LISTSERV as our MAILER. Looking
at LSVXMAIL, as far as I can tell, it fails to check to make sure it's
not sending files back to the mailer.
