Adding DEFAULT-OPTIONS= REPRO to an existing list will not
change current subscribers' options.  You would need to
be careful doing a QUIET SET list REPRO FOR *@* for gateways e.g.,
NETNEWS.
 
(While you're updating the headers, add a LIST-ID= listname
so that the LISTS db will give "better" results when
free-form searching by listname.)
