You can put comment lines into the message header, but I think they have
to be below the keyword lines, eg:

* MLM Discussion list
*
* Owner= [log in to unmask]
* Errors-to= Owner
* Subscription= Open
*
* This list is for discussing mailing list management programmes such
* as L-Soft International's LISTSERV and its poorer rivals.
*
