Hi folks!
 
I am ready to setup a pair of Mail Lists but unfortunatly my ISP does
not currently have the resources available for me to do so, and does
not have a firm estimate on when they will.
 
As such I started reading what I could find on the net and came
across:

I am very definatly not for profit, in fact I may be crazy for even
taking on this project, but I am anxious to learn and I think this
would be a good experience.
 
Anyway the purpose of this message is to beg just such a deal.  :->

I have done this, and been following for a few days.

I hope this is the appropriate place to post this.  The FAQ and the
owner of NEW-LISTS both pointed me here.  Below is the information
suggested for the two lists I wish to run.  I have been on the net
for a couple years, know my way around it and computers, and have
been a user of many mailing lists so I understand their function very
well.
 
It is my hope that one of you kind souls (I can not only be polite,
but I can kiss up really good as well ;-> ) could see your way clear
to hosting my lists on a temporary basis until my local ISP can get
up to speed.  They are fairly new on the block and growing fast.  The
tell me they plan on setting up a seperate machine to run the MLM on
but other priorities need to come first.  I understand this but the
lists I want to run are seasonal and now is the best time to get them
started and I would guess it will be 6 months or so before my ISP can
host them. If it matters I am accessing the net via a PC and PPP
connection. I also have Unix Shell access if that is needed.

I don't expect either list to have more then 100 users over the next
6 months.

Based on my experience with simular lists I would guess they would
peak at 30-40 messages with normal load at half that.

None would be needed.
