What the problem is, is the way that people access the online archives.  How
to set up the archives on separate domains.

I'm probably "missing" something in analyzing your question, but ...

LISTSERV software can operated thousands of independent lists on the same
host.  The lists and/or its archives can be as open or closed as you want
... open to the world, the subscribers, or just listowners.
