In order to get a 1.8d LAK to test the beta functions you need to contact
your sales representative.  Since the 1.8d beta is also a 1.8c patch release
(with a 1.8c LAK no 1.8d functionality is enabled but fixes to existing
1.8c bugs are) we ship it with a 1.8c LAK in order to avoid confusion.
