This question pertains to a list that operates under Listserv 1.8d beta.
This list is coded with Confidential= Yes, Defualt-Options= Repro,Ack and
Subscription= Open. The problem is that when someone clicks on the "join
or leave" button, the correct default subscription options are not
selected by default. Instead, an option that reads "[Special or obscolete
setting]" is selected. Changing this by pressing the appropriate options
buttons does nothing. When the "join the list" button at the bottom of
this Web page is pressed, the obligatory confirmation message is sent out,
but the options revert back to that "obscolete setting". Confirming the
subscription request also does not set the Repro and Ack aptions. When I
subscribe to the same list the traditional way (e-mail), the default
options are respected, but not when subscribing via the Web. How can I fix
this problem?
