As you are running on Linux OS, you should check to be sure the /etc/aliases
file has an alias for 'LISTSERV-request'.  If not, that would explain the
rejection.

This alias goes to the non-quiet POSTMASTER= address(s) in go.user.  In your
case that is at least [log in to unmask] and possibly other hidden POSTMASTER=
addresses.
