to  it and  how many  copies we  had to  discard... Anyway,  here is  the
answer:

No, for two reasons:
 
1. Inter-LISTSERV  commands related  to list maintenance  (forwarded ADD,
   etc) are always sent via RSCS.
 
2. The  code will not recognize  a peer if it  does not show up  with the
   address which is in the list.
