The MAXBSMTP number was 1000, so I changed it to 100 and inserted the debug message.
At the moment, there's nothing in the spool folder. Should I wait until another email goes out before posting the logfile?

Add this line to ~\LISTSERV\MAIN\site.cfg (edit with Notepad)
SMTP_DEBUG=1
Be sure that if there is an existing line
MAXBSMTP=...
that the following number is 100 or less. Change it if necessary.
Save the file. Stop/restart the LISTSERV (primary instance) service.
Then check the end of the ~\LISTSERV\LOG\SMTPS#1-20130208.LOG file and post the contents here (up to 100 lines or so, no more) so we can see what the issue/problem is with getting mail from LISTSERV to its outgoing mailer.
