} We upped the cylinder space on the machine and put the virtual storage up
} as high as it will go, but it's still crashing intermittently with the

Those are CMS errors, and indicate virtual storage shortage, not disk
space.  What is the vstor set to?  Logon to the id and do:

   #CP Q V STOR

The max it can be is 2 gb on most current VM systems (unless its running
in 64bit mode which allows much more).
