If there are no other problems, define more SMTP workers.

Maybe, maybe not. How many files are in the spool?  How old are they?
Do you have more than one SMTP worker defined?

What do you have for SMTP_FORWARD= ?
For  SMTP_FORWARD_1=  ?
Did these change with the sendmail problem fix?

Are there any errors in the log trying to send to Sendmail?
