You must also change the related setting:

 SMTP_FORWARD_1=148.244.85.213

Note that nearly all mail goes out via the setting in SMTP_FORWARD_1= and not
the setting in SMTP_FORWARD=

Use of direct IP is often necessary where DNS is problematic or known to be
wrong (such as when the server is behind a firewall and internal DNS is not
setup correctly).
