Well, thanks to everyone's help the size problem is fixed, poor syntax
(oops!).  I'll be cleaning up and examining the time thing more, thanks for
the pointers.

I have heard a lot of excellent help on these issues, except for the MIME
issue...anyone have a solution for that or is it just the way it is?

Also note that, as documented, LISTSERV ignores the minutes portion
of the time specification.  If you code "22:30" then LISTSERV reads
that as "22".

With regard to when LISTSERV is actually cutting the digest, have you
checked the LISTSERV log to see if there is any discrepancy there?
