The situation the following:
There is a LISTSERV server with networked mode somewhere
in Europe (for example in Hungary:).In US there is an enthusiastic
Hungarian who ownes some lists using the RFD service of LISTSERV.
These lists contain many people from US and of course many people
from Hungary. When a mail is distributed via the network of LISTSERVs,
mail for recipients with email address ended .hu are processed by the
hungarian LISTSERV server, that maintain by an academic institution.
But for many .hu ended address it is not optimal, (and for us too)
because they are connected directly to non-hungarian ISPs, for exampe
there is a domain called x.hu connected directly to NY, and recipients in
this domain get their mails through Hungary instead they get from the nearest
LISTSERV server, so it is a waste of network bandwidth and load needlessly
our server.
My question is that following:
Is it possible to tell LISTSERVs that mails for given domais not to be routed
to my server and how can I achieve this?
Thanks
