Oh! Now, I understand. Yes, what you were told makes sense. Removing
"hold" caused the behavior you described. See section 6.5 on page 81
and section 6.6 on page 82 of the LISTSERV List Owner's Manual at
http://www.lsoft.com/manuals for an explanation of how that option
works in greater detail.
