Greetings!

I am one of the administrators of a worldwide club of Star Trek fans. The
purpose of our club is to provide people with an ID that will allow them to
pursue their interests in a Star Trek setting. We do this by way of
simming (simulations).

In simming, each person contributes small segments of a story to develop
the main plot. The people perform tasks and actions appropriate for their
specific ID. For example, the Chief Engineer will work on repairing damage
incurred during a battle and naturally, the Captain gives the orders.

This club exercises the human imagination and helps people develop their
creative writing skills. It also unites people from all over the world
behind the ideals and philosophies of Star Trek. Freedom, acceptance of
others and hope for a bright and promising future.

What I would like to request of you is to sponsor a mailing list for this
club. We now have 2 ships and 1 starbase with a total of approximately 30
members. We need a way for our writings to reach all the other members of
the club.

If you wish, you can visit our site at

http://www.starfleet.pair.com

to get an idea of what we are like.

We are a nonprofit organization. There are no dues or any other financial
transactions. Our only purpose is to have fun!

We are also looking for someone to sponsor a domain for us to host our
website in. We have outgrown our current location. We are hoping to
acquire 30 - 50 MB of webspace.

I don't normally follow these newsgroups. So could you please reply to my
private email address?

Thank you very much for considering our request!

Let's see what else is out there. Engage.
