From MIZZOU1: For To

From MIZZOU1: 32 reroutes found

MIZZOU1 is telling RSCS that UNLVM (University of Nebraska) and UNMCVM
(University of Nebraska Medical Centre) are the same machine as UIUCVM42.
All files to Nebraska are lost, because they are sent to the user at
UIUCVM42 by the same name which probably doesn't exist, and jobs to their
LISTSERV is being routed back to UIUCVM42, which rejects them because the
file has been through it. Well one thing is to wear 20 different hats and
not know the difference between ROUTE and REROUTE. But it is another
thing entirely to make a change of this magnitude on a Friday without
bothering to test it (sending a test file to a random user at UNLVM would
have instantly pointed to the problem), and lose other people's files as
a result. But, I guess, sometimes Fridays are very busy and there is just
no time. Now, when you start being flooded with error messages after
making a change and still can't figure out that there might be a problem
with what you did, well, I just don't know where to look for an excuse.

The typo in the code which caused the "Reason" blurb to replace rather
than be appended to the error message will be fixed in 1.8a.
