Define "read?"

Other than say Maestro that would "tell" you if a person clicked on a personalized link w/i the message, I don't think this is going to happen.

Also, the MUAs that allow you to select this as a send option often allows the recipient to cancel it.

I sure hope you have some way of preventing spoofing e.g., it I were to send out a bogus email to my fav x-x-x list, using your FROM: and signifiying that recipients' MUA ping you when they open it, I don't think you'd be too happy.

BTW, does an OOO auto-response "count" as a "read?"
