   Well, I HOPE that when the folks signed up to the LISTSERV they
got, and read, and even retained, the instructions on how to obtain
files from listserv.  I realize that TELLing or mailing the LISTSERV
to 'get somedumb file' is pretty hard for some folks, but since all
the commands are so simple, and so standarized for all real LISTSERV,
that if it requires an FAQ it will at least be a VERY short one.  o-)

  True enough.  But I also remember, that as both a librarian and a
computer trainer/analyst/whatever, that the stupid will always be with
us and no matter WHAT we do that there will always be some dummies
who will not or cannot learn, who will not RTFM, and will not even
read the SCREEN where the directions are in front of them in plain
<language of your choice>.
