Thanks everyone for the help. One follow-up question: I noticed that the
"default.mailtpl" file always includes the section that starts with "To
send a message to all the people currently subscribed to the list...",
even if the list does not allow this (i.e. for an announcement list). Is
there a way to have this paragraph conditionally included using a ".bb"
tag only if the "send" keyword is "public" or "private"?
