There is an optional package called NODEUPD which can be used to do that.
However it requires human intervention to  set things up, and the process
is not simple  (you have to subscribe  LISTSERV to a bunch  of files from
NETSERV). In addition,  LISTSERV must own enough disk space  for 2 copies
of BITEARN NODES. Finally, this package is very old and all the functions
will not  work 'as is';  the very low level  of interest did  not warrant
updating it when GENROUTS became available.
