LISTSERV does not pay attention to X-Sender: or any other RFC822 Field beginning
with 'X'. So this field is ignored by LISTSERV.

LISTSERV would pay attention to

Sender: [log in to unmask]
From: [log in to unmask]

but in that case the error message would say the [log in to unmask] address was
not authorized.

Last idea I can think of is if the email client program might accidentally have
a non-visible 'control' character in the email address (should not happen) which
LISTSERV is seeing and responding too.

Unless you do not have a support contract with L-Soft, I suggest it is time to
write to them ([log in to unmask]) so you can show them the complete and
unmodified list header/message header/log file segment without the hidden names
and other modifications you have made which may be obscuring the real problem.
