I'm away at a conference but just noticed HUNDREDS of X-DEL jobs for
[log in to unmask]  PLEASE do not do this!  Either let your users signoff the
lists they are on or generate a bounce message including the original mail
for an undefined address.   Using  SIGNOFF * (NETWIDE  should NOT be done
for masses of users as it appears to be in this case.  We contribute lots of
resources to LISTSERV as do all the other sites.  I sure hate to see it
abused this way (although I realize the intent may have been something else).
