I do not believe this will resolve the problem. Both settings cause
LISTSERV to send a confirmation request to the apparent sender when
it receives a message which appears to have been sent by an editor.

Both settings also cause LISTSERV to forward postings from non-editor
addresses to the moderator. The "hold" option causes LISTSERV to forward
these postings in the form of posting approval requests which require
only an "OK" from the moderator.
