to the nearest LISTSERV saying  "GLOBAL SIGNOFF"? This command, being intended
to be used  by joe users, cannot  be validated because these users  can not be
expected to have a password, especially not on all the servers.
 
  The only  implementable command would  be a  "DELETE * userid@node"  for the
postmaster.
