I have had several subscribers report that all they get from certain
lists is garbled messages. The one thing that seems to be common with
these notes is the tag "Content-Transfer-Encoding: BASE64". I know that
this has something to do with MIME, but that's where my knowledge of the
subject ends.

Is there a knob on LISTSERV that could help here or is the problem on the
receiving end? If it's a MUA issue, can anyone suggest what I could tell
my users other than get another MUA?

Thanks for your help.
