this morning I got 104 listserv messages like this one. they were all
mail rejection messages from lluvm to a plethora of network delete
messages. these rejection messages all came back over the space of about
10 minutes (8:53-9:0?) this morning.

questions:
1. is there anything obvious here? nothing has changed since the last
monthly updates.
2. should listserv be sending these delete jobs to mail? it appears that
that is what it is doing. what could cause this?
3. how should the network delete job transfer work?
