A couple of subscribers to PIPORG-L, a list we host here, have complained
of excessive delay in receiving postings to the list.  By excessive I
mean many hours to days.  Both subscribers had Internet addresses.  And
other thing they had in common was that their stuff was being gatewayed
via UGA[.cc.uga.edu].  Now I can understand how it might be that things
at UGA were such that some mail might pile up for a while.  But why was
LISTSERV sending the posting to LISTSERV@UGA in the first place?  We do
our own gatewaying [MAILER(LMAIL 1.1d/1.7f) -> SMTP(FAL 2.2)] for locally
originating mail.
