Am I missing something here? This is starting to turn into one of the all
too common episodes where people on the net whip themselves into a frenzy
of taunts, innuendo, and insults.

For what it's worth, maybe nothing, my perspective is that a procurement
decision usually doesn't factor in whether a firm is public, private, or
plans to change status. Also, procurement decisions are most often based
on the product and track record of the firm (or its principals).

If we cared all that much about board members identifying themselves, you'd
have to start asking why one of the CREN Board members has set the Conceal
flag on for his subscription to the CRENONLY list. Hint: he's the chair of
the Customer Relations committee.
