Yes, the URL that is being followed "/archives/images" doesn't exist and
shouldn't. This is the problem I am having and clearly I am missing
something too obvious. We were previously running the beta version of 1.8d
with the following information. The permissions nor the paths have
changed:

1. /etc/lsv-wa.config - No change here from the beta version.
2. WW_ARCHIVE_CGI= In go.user no change from beta version
3. WWW_ARCHIVE_DIR= In go.user no change from beta version

Number 1 and 2 are exported.

During the update, Listserv stored the image files in the correct place,
under the archive directory, as defined by the absolute path in Number 3.
However, the information defined in number 1 above for the URL to the
archives doesn't seem to be read/referenced when looking for any "*.gif"
files. Temporarily, I've put a symbolic link in the directory where
listserv is looking but I'm not the webmaster and I don't own that
directory.

If you tell me that Listserv can only store the files in their proper
place but can't use any of its config files/variables above to then
find/present them in a URL request, then I will create a site.wwwtpl file
and put everything from the default files that require the *.gifs in there
and rewrite them. I haven't taken a good look at it to see if it will
make updates problematic. However, I'm betting Listserv is smarter than
this and I've made a mistake or need to define something so Listserv will
use the config file to see where it stored the *.gif files and, at
present, I don't know what that could be. I've done double time on the
manuals and I'm just not too swift the last few days. Thanks for any
pointers folks, much appreciated.
