Well you could edit your copy of PEERS NAMES to comment the :backbone.YES
tag in TREARN's entry, and regen the  table (CMS LSVPRSUM - not needed if
you do  a GET+PUTALL).  To append  the mailfile in  error to  the message
mailfile would mean reading it all  in storage and temporarily keeping it
in GLOBALV space, which might require  more storage than is available, at
least in the general case.
