The reasons for most servers at BITNIC being down, and indeed KERMSRV@CUVMA,
amongst others, is the BITNIC-EARNET link load as well as the PSUVM-OHSTVMA
and CUNYVM-PSUVM problems.  EDUCOM folk at BITNIC put the servers back up
today.  The load on the EARNET link from BITNIC is still a little under 2000,
with only about 30 old files a day crossing.  Almost all the traffic crossing
is NEW stuff at prio 50 or below.  There were approximately 1650 OLD files
still waiting to cross.
