I tried SMTP'ing to mcimail.com, and got the following welcome message:
 
220 MCIGateway. Server SMTP (Complaints/bugs to:  [log in to unmask])
 
Try "[log in to unmask]"
 
[I suggest you be careful with the capitalization.  No telling what their
gateway does or requires.]
 
While you're at it, see if you can persuade them to set up "[log in to unmask]".
