In addition to Ben's suggestions, I'd check the list's configuration to see if maybe you're listed twice as a listowner (maybe as different addresses that forward to the same place).  If so, either delete one of the addresses or make one a quiet owner and you should go back to receiving just one copy of administrative messages.
