Because you did a GET of the filelist, modified it with XEDIT, and then stored
it back by hand on LISTSERV's disk, which you should never do. You should
either XEDIT directly from LISTSERV or do a GET name (CTL and then use the PUT
command to store it back, which will also detect most errors you might have
made and refresh the filelist.
