postfix timeouts

Hi I have recently migrated from sendmail to postfix for my mailer and keep
seeing a lot(hundreds) of these in my listserv log. 

-> RSET
421 4.4.2 lists.fdncenter.org Error: timeout exceeded

Mail seems to be flowing ok despite these but I'd love to get rid of it. I'd
appreciate any suggestions.
