I suggested just be sure there is some content in the message body and I
suggested the word  "subscribe" 

Be sure you leave the setting 

 Loopcheck= None 

in place or LISTSERV will issue a different error complaining about mistakenly
sending a command to the list (message) address.  Loopcheck= None is supposed
to turn this off.
