Hi. I would like to second this... I am the poster of one of the
aforementioned "begging letters." I would like to point out that I am not
averse to spending a reasonable amount of money to finda place to put my list,
however, my computer is simple not a viable option, however inexpensive the
software may be. I would, in fact, be willing to pay a reasonable amount to
get my list set up, if that is what it took. However, keep in mind that I am
a college student and my definition of "reasonable" is based on somewhat
limited resources. I don't know why anyone has it in their mind that someone
who has devoted the amount of time that I have (I am currently researching
what goes into an RFD to get my topic set up as a newsgroup) is not willing to
devote money as well. I would be willing to pay a small fee to get my list
set up on a reliable server.
