It is easy to complain, but how can LISTSERV know that something.X.EDU is
the same  machine as somethingelse.X.EDU?  Mail systems which  generate a
different hostname  every time  are going to  cause problems  to LISTSERV
users anyway.  They will subscribe under  a certain address and  later be
told they are not  subscribed under the new address of  the day. There is
nothing much LISTSERV can do about it.
