I have now run into a peculiar problem. Has happened several times
and  one time got to be sticky.
  I am List admin . I just added a new subscriber Angela and her email
address is Angela @email. com (fictitious).
  I sent the appropriate command to LISTSERV and  received the
following confirmation in return.

ADD UCMUG-L Angela Madeupname [log in to unmask]
"McCarthy [log in to unmask]" <[log in to unmask]> has been
added   to  the   UCMUG-L   list.  Notification   has   been  sent   to
[log in to unmask]

NOTE that the email address used to send the confirmation is WRONG.
The mistaken email address has MY ISP in it!
  Of course , this confirmation message bounced and I , as List Admin
got the usual error message.

My question; Why and how did this happen?what do I do?

Twice before this happened; I added people to the list using a batch command
"// JOB" format
  and found the same thing happened for many of them

NOTE: I admin two list servs thru LISTSERV at UIC.. This error only
has happened with one of the lists.

What is this?

Whom do I notify at LISTSERV?
