We have recently installed the Revised Listserv 1.5n at the University of
West Florida. I will try briefly outline some of the symptoms we are
experiencing.
 
 1. Mail to the one list (Bitcours) is being forwarded to the subscribers,
    but some of the subscribers get duplicates of a mailing. For example, one
    subscriber at NMSUVM1 got his mail from PSUVM and a copy of the same piece
    of mail from UGA. Two other subscribers (DICKINSN and MUN) also got dupes,
    although I have not yet heard where their mail came from. Users at Oberlin
    and IDBSU have stated that they are not getting duplicates.
 
 2. Commands like LIST and HELP are received at the LISTSERV machine from non-
    local sources (UCF1VM), but receive no reply. Commands like GET LISTSERV
    FILELIST also do not receive a reply, but the file is transmitted to the
    user anyway.
 
 We are running the Crosswell Mailer X1.25 and it's profile and names files
 are current. LISTSERV is linked to the MAILER.
 
 3. Mail to the BITCOURS list results in UWF subscribers receiving the mail
    thru UCF1VM.BITNET (Mailer) when the mail originated here at UWF in the
    first place. Is this normal ?
 
 4. What role does the BITEARN DISTSUM File play ?
 
 5. Our Stats file for the one list only has stats in the number of mailing
    column. (we have mail-via=dist2 specified).
