I would like to see LISTSERV enhanced as follows:
 
TELL LISTSERV AT node  <AFD>  <LIST >  ( NETWIDE      Query All AFD or FUI
                       <FUI>  <QUERY>                 Subscriptions.
 
TELL LISTSERV AT node QUERY * ( NETWIDE               Query All List
                                                      Subscriptions.
 
These should act just like SIGNOFF * ( NETWIDE in that they are run
outside of PRIME time and are distributed throughout the networks via
the backbone servers.  Only mail responses are returned from servers who
have subscriptions to report.
 
I have used a Listserv Job to do this using PEERS NAMES entries, but it's
a real pain and a mess of 150+ mail files (all servers must answer the job).
 
Can this be included in release 1.6?
