I may have spoken in haste.  I ran HISTOREX against LSVSORT XEDIT,
and it seems to be repeated calls to LSVU@N to update the SIGNUP FILE
for every user in the list everytime someone subscribes. I am giving
very serious consideration to disabling this "feature" on my server.
Any comments?
