Don't assume that your RSCS is involved in the mailing of traffic to
"INTERBIT"

I sent a message to 00000000@INTERBIT and (L)MAILER reported:

* Mail forwarded to SMTP@PSUVM
* From SMTP: Mail delivered to: <@INTERBIT.CREN.NET:[log in to unmask]>

Our default .BITNET mail traffic is routed to INTERBIT.CREN.NET which
apparently is a Princeton University site:

 dig interbit.cren.net mx
interbit.cren.net.      14400   IN      MX      10 outbound.princeton.edu.

(I still have not received the "bounce" from my test message.)
