Ah!  You are the List Owner and/or POSTMASTER= for the server?  LISTSERV does
not notify the List Owner/Postmaster about adding his own address since LISTSERV
knows said person wrote the welcome message, etc. and has no need of any
notices.  This is documented somewhere.

Try again with an address which is not an Owner= or other privileged address.
