The latest list of lists compliled by Mr. Zellich has appeared on a public
disk. I want to advise him that one reference contains a minor error. To wit,
XYZZY has only one list serving it: [log in to unmask] MD43@CMUCCVMA does not
exist, and MD48@CMUCCVMA is now a list for discussing matters pertaining to
China. These latter two names should be taken out of the section containing the
description of MD44@CMUCCVMA, the only true XYZZY discussion list.
 
Bitnic's list of all Listserv lists is in discernible ways incomplete or out of
date. For instance, the list called SWAPS-L@TECMTYVM, mentioned there, has been
replaced by [log in to unmask] The former no longer exists. To remain up to date
the persons in charge of maintaining such lists as this should everywhere sub-
scribe to the list NEW-LIST@NDSUVM1 in America or NEW-LIST@IRLEARN in Europe.
The owners of most new lists themselves make the periodic anouncements in that
forum of lists that are newly created, modified or replaced.
