We have  a new list  here, MEDNEWS,  whose subscription number  is growing
rapidly  since  its inception  last  Friday.  It  is a  weekly  newsletter
type of mail of approximately  1500-2000 lines. The DIST2 subject couldn't
have  happened at  a more  appropriate time.  The first  distribution went
out  over the  weekend without  using  DIST :-(  and LISTSERV  immediately
complained about  it being  over the  mail max  of 1000,  so I  raised the
limit to  2000. Is output  from a  DIST2 considered to  be a file  or mail
by LISTSERV?  Will other LISTSERVs complain  when it receives a  DIST2 job
that is over the maximum specified for their LISTSERV.
I may  have to peer this  list with someone  in the near future  and would
appreciate hearing directly from possible participants.
